As one of the founding disciples of “tufi’ism”,
I must say, these past weeks have been enjoyable. Enlightening & invigorating! “Wherever
I will go, there I will be” and the friendly spirit of “tufi” will
follow!
Last week, yesterday, tomorrow – it really does not matter
when you are a guest at Posada de los Raqueros – rest assured
- as the world gets crazier, Hans and Angie see to it that Raqueros
only gets better! Many, many thanks. I look forward to my next
week under these truly lucky stars!

La posada de los Raqueros es manifique. Le surf formidable, les
poissons y l'oiseaux unique. Le retour a Marseille va etre dur.
Merci beaucoup por cet accueil chaleureux. Plein de belles choses.

Mis finos y estimados anfitriones Hans y Angie:
Arturo.

There is a TV commercial where you see the
ocean, the reflection of the sun, a chaise lounge and thatch roof
canopy. There is stillness between the sounds of ocean waves. A
cell phone goes off and the arm of a guy picks it up, then he drops
it into the ice cubes and water that are cooling bottles of Corona
beer. The sea continues to whisper.
That laid-back feeling was a part of
my experience when I visited the posadas. Some mornings started
early watching the mist over the ocean where you cannot distinguish
between sea and sky. I combed the Playa Manzanillo and other
beaches for shells and took a midnight swim with tiny luciferase
animals that glittered on my t-shirt like a reflection of the
stars. I dined with Hans and friends, talked to men and women
from all over the world, took a hundred photos of people and
pelicans, http://community.webshots.com/user/mzdiana111, walked
to a nearby fishing village, wrote poems, surfed the waves, shopped
in Zihuatanejo, enjoyed a massage from Karolyn’s
magical hands, sipped wine at sunset engaging in relaxed conversation
with always the rhythm of the ocean waves reminding us that we
are alive.

To whomever gets this mail..... I just wanted to let you know
that I have never written a note to anyone after staying at their
establishment. We were totally satisfied and felt so at home at
Raqueros. We never got or felt we needed a key. Libo, Chencho,
Beatrice and Karoline were great to us and we loved the Casita
de la Mariposa. My husband John tells everyone how unbelievable
luxurious it was. And, he is right. We are home now and as much
as I love leaving I love to get home. Tuffy, the resident dog,
was the greatest. Hope to see you next year...
