The web site that advertises Posada de Los Raqueros is nicely done. It does however lack one thing. This was our 4th trip here. The web site could never come close to explaining about the true heart of this beautiful place. Hans and Angie, from the first “Welcome Home” to the “Goodbye”, there is nothing these two people could not do to make your stay as private and peaceful as you could imagine.

What a beautiful place you have. This is a paradise tht you should be proud of. Our Casita was comfy and cute and we loved the front yard. Coming here was the most relaxing part of our trip. The surf out front and down at the beach was great. THE BEACHES WERE GREAT, THE SURF WAS GREAT, THE FOOD WAS GREAT AND THE PEOPLE WERE GREAT. We look forward to coming back.

Posada de los Raqueros is quite unlike
anything I have experienced in my travels throughout Mexico.
There is a profound sense of peace and tranquility. The décor
is eclectic; it felt as if I were staying in an art gallery or
a museum – wall hangings,
statues, pottery, carved masks- everywhere. I looked if there was
something more to take in. It is the sum of a multitude of
special touches that add up to an incredible experience: The “real” world
seems a million miles away. I felt a sense of timelessness as
I stepped from the beach into the ocean and snorkeled for hours.
It felt as if I were in an Italian villa or Moroccan palace. This
is a place of rejuvenation for the body, mind and spirit… a
place I will remember forever.

You said “Welcome Home” when we arrived and it has
truly felt that way – like coming home. Meditating as the
sun rises, in total solitude (save for an occasional canine companion)
is a precious gift. We loved everything about the experience this
year. Thoroughly enjoyed meeting your son Sorin, spending time
with the two of you, a wonderful Christmas dinner and New Year’s
eve at Doña Martha’s, Glenn and I having smoothies
in the AM at our special table for 2, the sound of the surf, the
warmth of the sea, the glorious sun. Thank you so very much and
